Week 8..or 1 week till printing, 2 weeks till grad jury, 3 weeks till portfolio and graduation
My journey as an AIPX student is almost to an end. One of my teachers asked me if I was sad that I was almost done and I promptly responded with a HELL NO! Ive been here for 3.5 years, I deff did my time and I am more than happy to be done with it. The end of this quarter will be huge thou, I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college…not to shabby seeing as I am the 6th born. haha. There are some aspects of school that i will miss, including the friends I have made and have gotten close to in the last couple of quarters but overall I think its an experience that really needs to end. Its pretty rough going to school that long, for that many hours with very little breaks in between. All in all, it will be a bitter sweet moment when it is all said and done.
In the mean time, I have sooooo much still to finish. I can finish one thing and then realize I have about 20 more things to do…Lets just say the stress is killing me,
But…i just finished a shit ton of stuff today so I am pretty happy with that.
My portfolio is all layer out, my resume is all done and with help from Rachel, my backdrop is done. Pretty happy about all of that now I get to go home and come back in 8 hours.
